Fairfield Municipal Band to perform five times in July
The Fairfield Municipal Band held its first concert of the summer on June 18 in the Ron Prill Bandstand in Central Park.
The band will perform five more concerts, all on Tuesdays in July, on the dates of July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, and July 30. All concerts will be in Central Park and begin at 8 p.m.
The Fairfield Municipal Band is sponsored by the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Department. The group is made up of instrumentalists from Fairfield and surrounding communities. Although the majority of the band is made up of adults, the group also has many high school and college students who play.
