Candidates for the Fairfield Community School Board of Directors will participate in a forum on Tuesday, Oct. 19.
The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairfield High School Auditorium. The public is welcome to attend in person or watch the forum online through the school’s website, fairfieldsfuture.org, or its YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/Z7F5Pid5a14.
Voters in the district will select candidates to fill three seats up for grabs on Nov. 2. Only one incumbent is seeking reelection.
The seats currently held by board members Kelly Scott, Frank Broz and Debi Plum are all on the November ballot.
Scott is seeking reelection to his seat, while Broz and Plum are not running again.
Seven other candidates are seeking seats on the board: Kelly Thompson, Alex Kessel, Mark Porter, Paige Novak, Tai Ward, Wade Stremsterfer and Cody Bauer.
The top three vote-getters in the election will win the seats. School board terms are four years.
