FAIRFIELD – Fairfield Community School District will host a virtual town hall on Thursday, July 30, to answer questions about students returning to the classroom for the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 24.
The event will be from 6-7 p.m. on Zoom. Parents are encouraged to submit questions ahead of time by going to the school's website at FairfieldsFuture.org. This will allow district officials to review the questions and answer them during the Zoom session. The Zoom session will be recorded and uploaded to the district's website afterward.
Fairfield school Superintendent Laurie Noll said the district has been trying to gather data from parents during the summer. The district sent a survey earlier this summer to parents and staff about what they're looking forward to and what they're concerned about going into the fall semester.
Parents are invited to review the district's 'Return to Learn” plan posted on its website for details about what the district will be doing to safeguard students and staff.
