Fairfield school superintendent?s contract renewed
The Fairfield school board reviewed and renewed its contract with Superintendent Art Sathoff Thursday evening.
In a closed meeting, allowed for discussion of personnel, the board gave its annual evaluation of the one school district employee the board actually hires.
The school board added a third year to his current contract, the 2014-15 school year, at a salary of $144,000.

The Fairfield school board reviewed and renewed its contract with Superintendent Art Sathoff Thursday evening.
In a closed meeting, allowed for discussion of personnel, the board gave its annual evaluation of the one school district employee the board actually hires.
The school board added a third year to his current contract, the 2014-15 school year, at a salary of $144,000.
His original contract will pay him $137,400 in the upcoming 2012-13 school year; and $139,900 in 2013-14 school year.
The board also approved a contract to hire Jeff Eeling at $80,000 beginning Aug. 1, as principal at Washington and Libertyville elementary schools for the 2012-13 school year.
