Fairfield schools to host live interview hiring event March 2

The Fairfield Community School District is hosting a live interview hiring event on Saturday, March 2, in the Fairfield ACT Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event is part of the district’s efforts to recruit qualified, high-quality professionals to join its team of teachers and staff. The district is seeking secondary science teachers, secondary English teachers, elementary art teachers, and special education teachers at all levels. This is the first time in its history the district has held a live interviewing hiring event.

Candidates who attend the hiring event can participate in live, on-the-spot interviews for open positions. In addition, interested candidates can meet with current district administrators and staff to learn more about the career opportunities at FCSD.

FCSD will also offer virtual interviews over Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Anyone interested in participating in a virtual interview should visit bit.ly/FairfieldZoomInterview.

“We are truly excited about the opportunity to meet interested job candidates at our upcoming hiring event,” said Dr. Stehpanie Mishler, Interim Superintendent. “This event not only allows us to recruit talented individuals who are passionate about education, but it also will provide a platform for prospective candidates to learn about our district’s mission, values, and culture. We look forward to a fantastic event on March 2.”

Those attending the in-person event will receive mileage reimbursement and lunch. The ACT Office is located at 403 S 20th Street in Fairfield.
