Fairfield to close portion of Kirkwood Avenue Wednesday

The City of Fairfield has announced that it will close Kirkwood Avenue from B Street to Court Street beginning 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The City needs to perform concrete work in the area. The closure of the street will include closing the intersection of Kirkwood and B, so motorists will need to make other arrangements until the intersection is reopened on Thursday evening, weather permitting.
