Fairfield to hold Memorial Day service

Fairfield Mayor Connie Boyer has announced that there will be a Memorial Day service beginning at 10 a.m. Monday in Central Park.
Following the service, the Carnegie Historical Museum will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum’s re-opening will be dedicated to Jim Kennedy, who presided over many Memorial Day services in Fairfield. Kennedy passed away in February. His marine dress blues will be prominently displayed at the museum.
