Fairfield voters approve revenue purpose statement

Voters in the Fairfield Community School District approved the district's revenue purpose statement through 2051 during a special election held Tuesday night.
The unofficial result was 530 votes in favor of the revenue purpose statement and 415 votes against.
The result of the vote means the district can continue to its 1 cent sales tax for SAVE funds.
