Fairfield Women’s Club to host Election Day luncheon

The Fairfield Women’s Club will host its Annual Election Day Soup & Pie Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the McElhinny House in Fairfield.

The club uses these and other fundraisers to support the historic McElhinny House, located at 300 N. Court St.

The club will be serving cheesy potato soup, vegetable beef soup, cornbread, crackers and assorted pies. Member Janet Roberts said the group will be slicing at least 60 pies to serve that day.

Guests can eat at the McElhinny House or get the meal to-go. The meal is $12.
