Fall sports camps coming up at Pekin

pproaching, the Pekin Football coaching staff is preparing to host 2010 Panther football camps. Those interested can register at the camp being held on the Pekin football practice field. For more information please contact head coach Joe Donovan at joe.donovan68@gmail.com.

The high school camp open to student-athletes entering grades 9-12 is set for Aug. 2-6 from 8-11 a.m. with the first day of practice commencing Aug. 9. The middle school camp open to those enter grades 7-8 will be Aug. 16-18 from 12-1:30 p.m. Equipment fitting be begin an hour prior to camp on the 16th. Middle school practice will begin August 25 after school. The camp for grades 4-6 will be Aug. 16-18 from 6-7 p.m.

Middle school volleyball coach Lisa Crabtree will be running camp for girls entering grades 5-8 August 10-12. Grades 5-6 will be held from 6-7 p.m. with seventh and eighth-grade campers going 7-8 p.m. Cost is $20 and t-shirts will be ordered at camp and hand out when school begins.
