The Fellowship Cup food pantry and the Quarter Maybe More Store have received an extreme makeover thanks to the crew that remodeled the Mt. Pleasant Walmart. Members of the crew were antiquing at the Quarter Maybe More Store, and they learned how the money they spent went towards buying food for the food pantry. So they decided to donate the old Walmart shelving to The Fellowship Cup after the remodel was finished.
About $3,000-4,000 worth of fixtures were donated and crews were there Tuesday night and during the day Wednesday setting things up and reorganizing the store. About 150 students from Iowa Wesleyan College also helped with the project. Pictured above is the volunteer work crew, made up of Walmart employees and Fellowship Cup volunteers.
