WASHINGTON — Eight filmmakers will receive laurels for their films in the Farm to Film (F2F) Festival, Washington’s first international film festival May 20-21. The awards will be announced at a filmmaker’s reception held May 20 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Public Library. The reception will also feature a Question and Answer panel with the filmmakers who will be able to display the laurels when showing their films in the future.
The winners, along with 28 others, will be shown at one or more of five venues over the weekend: the Washington City Hall Council Chambers; Patricia’s Room in Dodici Shop: the Washington Public Library; Art Domestique and the State Theater, where local film historian Michael Zahs will kick off the festival with a presentation Saturday morning May 20 at 10 a.m. All showings will be free to the public.
