Final legislative breakfast to be held this month

The final legislative breakfast for the 2017 session has been rescheduled for later this month.

The breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Chadwick Library International Room on the Iowa Wesleyan University campus. The breakfast will go from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The breakfast had originally been scheduled for April 22, but was cancelled.

The session will feature State Sen. Rich Taylor (D-Mt. Pleasant) and State Rep. Dave Heaton (R-Mt. Pleasant), who will discuss the recent legislative session. David File will serve as moderator.

The breakfast is hosted by members of the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance Government Affairs Committee.

The event is open to the public and reservations are not necessary.
