Fairfield Fire Department responded to a report of smoke, possible structure fire at 10:31 p.m. Thursday at 315 S. 15th St. Firefighters found a makeshift fire pit made with cinder blocks at a mobile home residence where residents were burning wood scraps intentionally. Residents were warned against burning after dark.
