Fairfield Fire Department responded at 8:05 a.m. today to a report of a natural gas smell near the back door at MidWestOne Bank drive-up, 2408 W. Burlington Ave. A small leak was discovered at the shut-off valve. Alliant was notified. Firefighters returned to the station at 8:13 a.m.
An automatic alarm rang at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Care Center. A nurse called to say it was a low pressure alarm. Capt. ...
