Fairfield Fire Department responded at 3:39 p.m. Sunday to a grass fire at 807 S. 32nd St. Residents burning thorn bushes had the fire get away from them, firefighters extinguished the fire and returned to the station 4:20 p.m.
Firefighters investigated at 2:15 p.m. Sunday to a smoke complaint at 302 E. Madison Ave. and returned to the fire station at 2:30 p.m.

Firefighters investigated at 2:15 p.m. Sunday to a smoke complaint at 302 E. Madison Ave. and returned to the fire station at 2:30 p.m.
Firefighters responded at 3:48 p.m. Saturday in mutual aid to a grass fire on 170th Street, but were called off that everything was OK and returned to the station at 4:24 p.m.
