Fairfield Fire Department investigated an automatic alarm at 2:34 a.m. today at 1601 Pleasant Plain Road. Firefighters returned to the station at 3:10 a.m.
Firefighters received a call at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday about a tree on fire next to a structure at Salina Road and Umber Avenue. Firefighters returned to the station at 12:20 p.m., the call was disregarded.
