Fairfield Fire Department responded at 2:32 p.m. to 701 W. Broadway Ave., for a doghouse on fire close to a residence. Wind reignited charcoal from the previous night?s grilling and blew sparks into the doghouse, igniting the doghouse. Firefighters extinguished the fire with water and returned to the station at 2:45 p.m.
