Fairfield Fire Department responded at a call at 9:01 p.m. Sunday at 500 E. Broadway Ave. Someone was cooking in a fire pit. Firefighters returned to the station at 9:18 p.m.
Firefighters responded to a call at 4:35 a.m. Sunday at 205 W. Buchanan Ave., Apt. 3B, for a smoke detector going off. It was determined the detector was faulty. Firefighters returned to the station at 5:15 a.m.
