Fire crews battle weekend fire in Washington

According to the Washington County Communications Media Report, a caller at 314 N C Avenue in Washington reported at 11:44 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, that their house was on fire. All residents were out of the house at the time of the call. No medical transports were needed and the fire, mostly contained to the garage, was extinguished. Responding to the scene were the Washington and Ainsworth Fire Departments. At the time of press, the Washington Fire Department was unavailable for comment.
