The Fairfield Fire Department and its EMS unit report the following:
Wednesday
EMS responded to two calls: two seizures.
Thursday
EMS responded to three calls: a broken wrist; a deceased person; and a seizure.
Friday
EMS responded to three calls: breathing difficulty; nose bleed; chest pain.
Saturday
EMS responded to one call: a sad person.
Sunday
10 p.m. -- The fire department was called to 2000 North Court St., No. 17A, where a smoke alarm was sounding. Firemen investigated and found that the smoke detector was malfunctioning.
EMS responded to one call: breathing difficulty.
