Fairfield Fire & Rescue reports the following:

9:53 a.m. - The department was on standby while workers entered a confined space at the Fairfield Wastewater Treatment Plant.

EMS responded to three calls: lift assist; traumatic injury from a fall; and a false alarm from the testing of a new automatic system.
