The Fairfield Fire Department and its EMS unit report the following incidents:

Tuesday

1:13 p.m. - Two firemen used one bag of oil dry to clean up the roadway at Fourth and Carpenter after a vehicle accident.

9:19 p.m. - The fire department responded to a commercial fire alarm at 2280 W. Tyler Ave. Firefighters investigated, then reset the alarm.

EMS responded to one call: an animal bite.

Wednesday

EMS responded to two calls: abdominal pain; and a medical alert fall.
