FIRE & EMS REPORT: Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019

The Fairfield Fire Department, and its EMS unit, report the following:

Thursday

7:19 p.m. - The fire department cleaned up the roadway at 907 S. Fourth St. after a vehicle accident.

Friday

8:40 a.m. - The fire department was on standby for a person entering a confined space.

11:25 a.m. - The fire department's response to a fire alarm was canceled.

5:50 p.m. - The fire department investigated a gas smell at 207 South D St.

EMS responded to two calls: a fall; and anxiety.

Saturday

EMS responded to eight calls: two breathing difficulties; Life Alert; anxiety; fall; leg pain; suicidal; and hip pain.

Sunday

6:07 p.m. - The fire department was on standby for a confined space rescue at 1402 S. Main St.

EMS responded to three calls: a sprained ankle; and two falls.
