Fairfield Fire & Rescue reports the following:

Thursday

11:57 a.m. - The department cleaned up the roadway at Third and Burlington after a vehicle accident. Oil dry was used to clean up antifreeze.

Sunday

8:05 p.m. - The department investigated a fire reported at 1795 Jasmine Ave. An unattended trash pile burning next to a structure was extinguished.

Monday

12:18 p.m. - The department checked for the presence of carbon monoxide at 207 E. Buchanan. Nothing was found.

5:55 p.m. - The department responded to a fire alarm at 602 W. Burlington. The response was canceled.

EMS responded to three calls: two for falls and one for a blood pressure issue.
