Fairfield Fire Department and its EMS unit report the following:
Sunday
EMS responded to five calls: three sick people; an assault; and a car accident.
Monday
3:01 p.m. - The fire department responded to a gas leak at Anderson Tooling, 200 N. Sixth St. Firefighters used a gas meter to investigate a gas smell and were on standby until Alliant Energy shut off the gas.
EMS responded to two calls: an unknown problem; and a fall.
Tuesday
EMS responded to one call: a dislocated hip.
