Forum will focus on taxation, budgeting
?Taxation and State Budgeting? is the topic for the second public forum on Saturday with area legislators.
The forum will be in the International Room of the Chadwick Library at Iowa Wesleyan University from 8:30-10 a.m.
State Rep. Dave Heaton, R-Mt. Pleasant, and State Sen. Rich Taylor, D-Mt. Pleasant, will be joined by State Rep. Tom Sands, R-Wapello, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

State Rep. Dave Heaton, R-Mt. Pleasant, and State Sen. Rich Taylor, D-Mt. Pleasant, will be joined by State Rep. Tom Sands, R-Wapello, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Other panelists will include Mt. Pleasant Mayor Steve Brimhall and Shahid Hussain, assistant professor of accounting and finance at Iowa Wesleyan University.
The event, hosted the fourth Saturday of the month during the legislative session, is sponsored by the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance Government Affairs Committee.
