Four people taken for treatment after accident
Four motorists were taken to the Henry County Health Center following an accident Dec. 1, on U.S. Highway 34, at the turn off to Boles Auto, east of Mt. Pleasant.

Four motorists were taken to the Henry County Health Center following an accident Dec. 1, on U.S. Highway 34, at the turn off to Boles Auto, east of Mt. Pleasant.
A press release from the Henry County Sheriff?s Office said a Chevrolet Malibu, owned by Shottenkirk and operated by John Rheinschmidt, of Middletown, was eastbound on Highway 34 in the inside lane slowing to turn into the median at Boles Auto. The vehicle was struck from behind by a 2001 Ford Escape, owned and operated by Richard DeJaynes, of West Burlington, that also was traveling east in the inside lane.
Rheinschmidt and his passenger, along with DeJaynes and his passenger were transported to the Henry County Health Center.
Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident.
