Franklin Avenue bridge construction to begin

The Henry County Engineer's Office will be starting a bridge replacement project the week of June 3.
The bridge is on Franklin Avenue (W-55) west of Mt. Pleasant between 235th Street (Business 34) and Old Highway 34. It will be closed for the railroad bridge construction.
There will be a marked detour route. Weather permitting, the project will be completed by the end of the year.
The contractor for this project is the United Contractors of Johnston.
