Free mulch available Saturday
The city of Fairfield will have a loader on site to assist the public with loading free mulch Saturday.
The loader will be available from 8 a.m. to noon at the lot just south of Hy-Vee. More mulch is available at a lot just north of O?Reilly?s Auto Parts if the supply by Hy-Vee gets depleted.
The city will not be held liable for any damage that may occur during the loading process.
