Friday crash caused by high winds

Non-life-threatening injuries were reported after a single vehicle rollover crash south of Trenton on Franklin Avenue on Friday, April 12, at 1:38 p.m.
An investigation revealed Kaye Johnson, of Wayland, lost control of her car after it was blown onto the shoulder by high winds. Johnson then overcorrected, causing the car to cross the roadway where it went into the ditch and flipped onto its top.
Also in the car was Roni Stowers, of Wayland. Both were transported to the Henry County Health Center by Henry County Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
Responding to the scene was the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County Ambulance and Mt. Pleasant Fire and Rescue.
