Fruits of their labors
The Mt. Pleasant Community Garden has many fruits and vegetables ready for picking.
Yesterday afternoon, Kirsten Epperson, 11,assisted with finding squash in part of the garden. Epperson?s mother, Maggie, right in photo, also helped with collecting the potatoes, squash, tomatoes, cantaloupe and carrots Tuesday.

The Mt. Pleasant Community Garden has many fruits and vegetables ready for picking.
Yesterday afternoon, Kirsten Epperson, 11,assisted with finding squash in part of the garden. Epperson?s mother, Maggie, right in photo, also helped with collecting the potatoes, squash, tomatoes, cantaloupe and carrots Tuesday.
Ali Jones of the Extension Office organized the volunteers and explained that the produce collected will be taken to the Fellowship Cup for distribution.
