Ft. Madison woman arrested for domestic abuse
A Ft. Madison woman has been arrested after police investigated a domestic dispute claim.
Karrie Douthart, 37, was arrested on Sunday, May 24, following a report of a domestic dispute.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office received the report at 11:53 p.m. and went to the 500 block of Walnut Street in New London to investigate.

A Ft. Madison woman has been arrested after police investigated a domestic dispute claim.
Karrie Douthart, 37, was arrested on Sunday, May 24, following a report of a domestic dispute.
The Henry County Sheriff?s Office received the report at 11:53 p.m. and went to the 500 block of Walnut Street in New London to investigate.
After deputies arrived on the scene, it was determined Douthart had assaulted her ex-boyfriend.
Douthart was charged with domestic abuse causing serious injury, a serious misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
