EMC Insurance Companies, headquartered in Des Moines, announced its 2012 ?Leading Partners? and has distinguished Gamrath-Doyle Insurance of Fairfield as one of the highest performing EMC agencies in the country, placing them in the top 15 percent of all EMC agencies in the United States.
The award is based on key indicators, including retention, profitability and growth, which are reviewed during a three-year period.
EMC developed its signature ?Agency Performance Value? tool in 2005 to measure an agency?s performance against all other EMC agencies nationally. Agencies are evaluated on loss ratio, premium volume, policy and premium growth, policy and premium retention and the position of EMC within the agency.
Cambridge promotions made
Cambridge Investment Research Inc. recent announced promotions at its headquarters.
Mary Arnold has been promoted to transition consultant on the advisor services transition team. She joined Cambridge in March 2007 as a Pershing operations coordinator. In March 2008, she joined the transition team as an associate regional consultant and was promoted to senior associate regional consultant in May. Now, she will assist with the transition of new offices joining Cambridge and work toward future transition opportunities within CPG branches.
Carrie Brownlee has been promoted to team lead in partner support. Brownlee joined Cambridge in 2008 as part of the direct operations team and moved to the partner support center in January 2010. New responsibilities include training new associates, providing coaching and feedback during peer call reviews and serving as team lead over the Pershing and CIRStatements teams in partner support.
Scott Crowe has been promoted to quality assurance automation specialist on the quality automation team in the information services department. He joined Cambridge in January 2010. Now, he will spearhead the in-house proprietary development of an automated software testing tool. He will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the automated test environments for multiple software applications.
Jacqulyn Flattery has been promoted to senior regional director on the advocacy and supervision team. She joined the wealth reporting team in 2008 and assumed the position of associate regional director in 2009. She will continue to perform in a regional director capacity in addition to leading enhancements of policies, procedures, and technology and taking on supervisory responsibilities.
Terra Greiner has been promoted to commissions supervisor in the accounting department. She joined Cambridge in 2005 as part of the imaging and workflow team. In 2008, she transferred to the commissions team and was promoted to commissions team lead in January 2011. Now, she will take over the supervisory duties of the commissions team.
Ashley Hickenbottom has been promoted to senior wealth reporting specialist, data integrity and service quality. She joined the firm as a wealth reporting specialist in 2010. Now, her focus will be on data integrity within CIRStatements and upholding the service quality delivered by Cambridge?s associates and Albridge, an outside vendor. She also will act as an escalation point for issues that need to be addressed directly with Albridge.
Lana Inderski has been promoted to senior transition consultant on the advisor services transition team. She joined Cambridge in 2001 as a regional consultant. Now, she will serve as a resource for the team, advising on higher level transition tasks and functions. She will continue to train and mentor associates joining Cambridge?s advisor services transition team.
Karissa Pforts has been promoted to wealth reporting and tech services analyst on the wealth reporting and tech services teams. She joined Cambridge in 2010 as a wealth reporting specialist on the wealth reporting team. The primary function of her new position will be internal reporting for the wealth reporting and tech services teams. She also will review incoming phone calls and ticket issue trends with management and senior level associates on both teams.
Kristi Rugg has been promoted to associate director, corporate training. Rugg joined the firm in 2008 as a member of the tech services team. In March, she joined the corporate training team as a corporate trainer. In her new position she will oversee the day-to-day activities of the corporate training team, play a key role in the development of training goals and initiatives and serve as an instructor for high level training subjects.
Seth Talbot has been promoted to regional director on the advocacy and supervision team. Talbot joined the firm in 2008, working for the compliance internal audit team before joining the advocacy and supervision team in January 2011. In his new position, he is primarily responsible for the relationship maintenance and regulatory supervision of rep-advisor direct reports in the states of Indiana and Ohio.
Jeff Voreis has been promoted to supervisor, internal audit. Voreis joined the firm as a member of the trading team in 2009. He transferred to the compliance internal audit team in 2010 and was promoted to team lead in March. His new responsibilities include supervising the internal audit team, which monitors many aspects of securities business for Cambridge rep-advisors, including compliance with a broad range of industry regulations.
Dawn Wales has been promoted to senior associate regional director on the advocacy and supervision team. Wales joined Cambridge in 2008 as an associate regional director. In her new position, she will be responsible for the direct supervision and relationship maintenance of Cambridge?s rep-advisor direct reports in the state of Illinois.
Mayree Workman has been promoted to team lead in partner support. She joined the firm in 2001 and has served on a variety of teams including quality assurance, operations, transition and tech services. In 2011, she joined the partner support resolution team. In her new role, she will assist in the development of Cambridge?s representative portal and advise on customer relationship management enhancements.
