Gas leak
Crews working on the alley behind First Federal Savings Bank of Iowa on Main Street in Mt. Pleasant struck a gas line Friday morning. Monroe Street between Main and Adams streets was closed and the bank was evacuated as a precaution while the crew and the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department worked to cap the line.
