Gas leak reported near Casey's
The area surrounding the intersection of South Van Buren and West Clay Streets, behind Casey's in Mt. Pleasant, has been closed off due to a gas leak Wednesday afternoon.
The Mt. Pleasant Fire Department was called before noon with the report of a gas leak. The area was quickly blocked off to traffic as crews worked to turn off the gas line.
