MOUNT PLEASANT ? Mount Pleasant police are investigating the death of a seven-year-old girl Friday, July 19, at the Mount Pleasant Aquatic Center.

MOUNT PLEASANT ? Mount Pleasant police are investigating the death of a seven-year-old girl Friday, July 19, at the Mount Pleasant Aquatic Center.
Jazmine Roth-Himes, 7, Mount Pleasant, was pronounced dead at around 6:30 p.m.
According to a report from the Mount Pleasant Police Department, Roth-Himes was dropped off at the pool by her father, Michael Himes, at about 3:30 p.m. Friday. She was dropped off along with four friends.
The police department was summoned to the pool at about 6 p.m. When they arrived, lifeguards were performing CPR on Roth-Himes.
Mount Pleasant police say the death appears to be accidental with no foul play suspected.
