Goble recognized at softball game
Mt. Pleasant?s Sammi Goble had senior night all to herself.
As the Panthers? only graduated senior, Goble was recognized on the field at Mapleleaf Athletic Complex last night in between games of the doubleheader against Centerville.
She was recognized along with her parents and step-parents: David and Tricia Frazier, and Stan Goble and Ginger Taylor. She also received a gift from her teammates.

Mt. Pleasant?s Sammi Goble had senior night all to herself.
As the Panthers? only graduated senior, Goble was recognized on the field at Mapleleaf Athletic Complex last night in between games of the doubleheader against Centerville.
She was recognized along with her parents and step-parents: David and Tricia Frazier, and Stan Goble and Ginger Taylor. She also received a gift from her teammates.
Goble, who is a five-time letterwinner in softball, plans to attend and play softball at Quincy University, where she will study biology. She intends to become a dermatologist.
Goble currently leads the Panthers at the plate in average (.385) and slugging percentage (.578). She has a team-high nine doubles and six triples on the season, and has knocked in 19 runs.
She helped those totals in last night?s games, when she had five hits, including two doubles and a triple, and knocked in a pair of runs.
