FAIRFIELD — One of the two Fairfield teens charged with murder has had his trial date pushed back from November to May.
The trial of Jeremy Goodale, 17, has been delayed until May 15 in Davenport. Goodale’s pretrial conference will be May 4 at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Fairfield.
Goodale’s trial was previously moved to Scott County because of extensive pretrial publicity.
The other teen charged, Willard Noble Chaiden Miller, 17, has a trial set for March in Council Bluffs, also due to extensive pretrial publicity.
Both teens are charged as adults with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony in the slaying of Nohema Graber, 66, on Nov. 2, 2021.
Jeremy Everett Goodale listens during a reverse waiver hearing in Fairfield, Iowa on Thursday, April 28, 2022. Goodale’s trial has been set for May 15, 2023, in Davenport. (Nick Rohlman/The Gazette)
