Eight Libertyville firemen responded to the grain fire at 8:10 a.m. Libertyville Fire Chief Gerrad Goodrich said the fire was caused by an overheated grain dryer. Although the grain was burnt, no damage to any of the equipment was reported, and a technician will check the equipment later today. The fire department remained at the scene about an hour.
