Wayland?s Volunteer Fire Department recently received a $2,500 community grant from the Walmart Foundation. The grant was provided upon the recommendation of the local distribution center/transportation office after its review of the needs in southeast Iowa. Wayland?s Volunteer Fire Department recently received a $2,500 community grant from the Walmart Foundation. All are Wayland firefighters with the exception of Walmart employees Diane Barton, Scott Starr, Erica Stauffer, Frank Nupp and Jay Meyer.
