Grassley staffer to host open office hours

Penny Vacek, Sen. Chuck Grassley?s (R-Iowa) regional director based in Davenport, will be having open office hours in Henry and Lee counties on Monday, Oct. 24.

Vacek will be in the second-floor meeting room in the Mt. Pleasant City Hall, 307 E. Monroe St., from 9-10 a.m.

She will also be at the Ft. Madison Public Library?s meeting room, 1920 Ave. E, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Open office hours provide an opportunity for Iowans to obtain casework assistance or to express views.

?Open office hours are designed to help more Iowans access the assistance that is available from the office of their United States senator,? Grassley said. ?I hope anyone with federal agency-related casework will take advantage of Penny?s visits.?
