Gratitude for support of Fairfield Women?s Club

For the second time in three months, I applaud our wonderfully supportive community for their continued support of the Fairfield Women?s Club. Thanks to you, we again had a very successful event with the lasagna luncheon this month.

Thanks also to co-chairs Karen Fulton and Janet Roberts and their team of workers for the fantastic organization of advance preparation, in-house serving and deliveries. Our delivery teams numbering 10 (five teams of two) are to be commended for the 150-plus meals they delivered around town at the precise times requested.

Our publicity chairwoman Melva Dahl deserves our thanks as well for a job well done. Finally, many thanks go to all Women?s Club members who so willingly donated 60 pies and approximately 45 salads.

I again express our heart-felt gratitude for the wonderful community support you give to F.W.C. for the preservation of the stately and historic McElhinny House.
