Great River Medical Center introduces running club
Great River Medical Center?s High Performance Program has formed the High Performance Running Club to help novice runners with running technique. Professional athletic trainers will teach the proper ways to warm-up, stretch, increase running efficiency and speed, and increase cardiovascular endurance. Great River Medical Center?s High Performance Program has formed the High Performance Running Club to help novice runners with running technique. Professional athletic trainers will teach the proper ways to warm-up, stretch, increase running efficiency and speed, and increase cardiovascular endurance. Proper ways to cool down and injury prevention also will be covered.
The High Performance Running Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday in the High Performance room. Membership in the running club is free to all Great River Health Fitness members. There is a fee for non-members.
