Greenfield takes 1st place, will compete in California

Briana Renee Greenfield, 13, of Mt. Pleasant won first place in her age division out of 76 girls for Miss Iowa Preteen Top Model at the National American Miss Pageant. She received a trophy, $250 check and an invitation with entry fee paid to compete for the National Preteen Top Model Title in California, where she will represent Henry County and all of Southeast Iowa.

Greenfield won third place in casual wear and received a medal. She was called in the 15 finalists to win Miss Iowa Preteen Crown.

Greenfield?s three-year-old cousin Dominick Amos was her escort in the formal wear competition and won Best Male Escort in her age division.

In November, she will compete against 49 girls in California for the National Title for Preteen Top Model.

She expressed her thanks to all sponsors and family and friends for their love and support in this most important event for her and asked everyone to cheer her on for the National Top Model Preteen title.
