The Fairfield Art Association will add four wooden gingerbread houses to the annual display in Fairfield?s downtown garden nodes for the Gingerbread Extravaganza this holiday season. From left, Suzan Kessel, Nancy Horras and Holly Moore each created one house this year, adding to their creations from 2010. The fourth ? a glittery snowflake house with photo details in the windows ? was decorated by first-timer Barbara Kistler. One other house was created last year by David Kraemer and his art students to bring the total to eight. The houses were built by Fairfield High School industrial shop class students for the art association. Four houses will be added each year until there are 24.
