Harlan-Lincoln House tours planned
The Harlan-Lincoln House, located at the corner of Main and Broad streets on the Iowa Wesleyan College campus, will have an open house Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The home originally was the residence of U.S. Sen. James Harlan. Harlan?s daughter, Mary, married Abraham Lincoln?s son, Robert Todd Lincoln. The Lincolns brought their three children to the home to spend summers.
