The Harlan-Lincoln House, located on the Iowa Wesleyan College campus in Mt. Pleasant, will welcome visitors on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission is free.

The Harlan-Lincoln House was the home of U.S. Senator James Harlan. Harlan?s daughter, Mary, married Robert Todd Lincoln, the son of President Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln grandchildren spent summers in Mt. Pleasant at their Harlan grandparents? home.
Various artifacts that belonged to the Harlan and Lincoln families are on display.
The Harlan-Lincoln House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
The House is located at 101 West Broad Street, on the northeast corner of the Iowa Wesleyan campus.
