Harry Richard Blodgett III

Harry Richard Blodgett III, 21, died Thursday, Dec, 13, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A celebration of life is 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home. Family and friends will have a time of sharing at 3 p.m.

Mr. Blodgett was born Jan. 14, 1991, in Corning, N. Y. the son of Harry Blodgett Jr. and Laurie Jacobus Blodgett.

He lived in the Fairfield area the past five years.

He graduated from Pekin High School and earned a welding degree at Indian Hills Community College.

He worked at Pioneer Seed in Mount Pleasant.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, big trucks and all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Harry Blodgett Jr. of Fairfield and Laurie Jacobus of Campbell, N.Y.; two sisters, Caitlin Blodgett of Campbell and Taylor Blodgett of Washington, Iowa; grandparents, Harry and Bernice Blodgett of Corning, N. Y., Gayle and Fred Sprague of Addison, N. Y. and Glen and Fran Jacobus of Lindley, N. Y.
