Hartzler appointed to board of Washington State Bank

Washington State Bank recently announced that Teri Hartzler has been appointed to the bank's board of directors.

Hartzler is the branch director for the YMCA of Washington. She has worked for the YMCA since 2016, when she and her husband sold their business, Bodywrx Fitness, to the YMCA of Washington County. She and her husband, Drew, own a grain and custom hog-feeding farm north of Washington.

She graduated from Washington High School in 1985. The following year she graduated from Kirkwood Community College and the floriculture program. Before owning a local business owner, Hartzler worked for Wolf Floral, Civco Medical Equipment, Kat's Grain, as well as helping on the farm.

She and Drew have three adult children: Ashley, Fort Worth, Texas; Olivia, Kansas City, Kan.; and Blake, a junior majoring in ag production at Iowa State University.

Teri is a member of the Washington Rotary Club and the Y's Men & Women's Club of Washington. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, biking and gardening.
